What do Medical Technologists do?

Patient gets their blood drawn
After a doctor orders tests for a patient, the patient goes to the lab to have their blood drawn.

Sample is analyzed
The tube goes to the Medical Technologists, who analyze the sample for quality and then test the blood on various machines and kits.

Results get sent to the doctor
The Medical Technologist analyzes the results to insure accurate results and sends the results to the doctors to diagnose and treat their patients.
